We help you find the Electrical workers you need

Impact strives to achieve excellence in all aspects of its business units, and are committed to achieving high standards, supporting industry and ongoing training.

With suitably trained year level apprentices and qualified electricians, we are sure to have exactly what you need!

We provide scissor lift, boom, and elevated work platform training to all our apprentices.

Rail Industry Worker training (RIW), Working Safely At Heights training (WSAH) and Train Track Safety Awareness are also offered.

We can provide a mentoring service for employers who directly employ apprentices, with site appraisals, TAFE or Registered Training Organisation (RTO) appraisals, assistance with the signing of training plans, and lodgements of commencement and completion  paperwork.


PPE&C are provided to our workers  and replaced on fair wear and tear basis.

  • What is Labour Hire?

    In short, labour hire is an ideal way to help meet your contractual obligations on a short-term hire arrangement. 

    The workers are employed through the labour-hire business, leased to the host and invoiced for hours worked. It is also an opportunity for you to assess workers for potential suitable employment in the future.

    Legally, labour hire companies must have Labour Hire Authority Accreditation to operate in Victoria 

  • What is a GTO?

    Impact Apprentices Pty Ltd is a registered Group Training Organisation (GTO). GTO's directly employ apprentices, who are employed under a training contract and then placed with host employers to gain on-the-job training. 

    Impact Apprentices Pty ltd will remain as the legal employer of the apprentice for the duration of their training contract.

    Our mentoring and support ensures there is accuracy in reporting on each apprentice’s progression and training.

How Do You Become A Host Employer?

Becoming a host employer is the easiest, most stress-free way to furnish your electrical contracting business, with the best apprentices and electricians the industry has to offer. We take care of the hiring process, so you can get back to running your business.

    We will contact you and guide you through the options available to ease your stress. We will prepare your hire agreement documents, for signing and return.

    On receipt of the completed documents and the Director's approval, workers can be leased to you.

    • Host Employer Arrangements

      ‘Host employer’ refers to an organisation that hosts, under a written Hire Agreement, an worker employed by Impact Apprentices Pty Ltd, Impact Electrical Labour Hire or Impact Electrician and Apprentce labour hire.


      The Host Agreement specifies the responsibilities of the host employer, the worker and Impact businesses, concerning the training, including providing appropriate supervision and on-the-job training, as well as job rotation where practical for apprentices.


      The host employer must ensure that each worker works in a safe and harassment-free environment following Federal and State legislation.


      The host employer must ensure that each worker is appropriately trained and/or licensed to use or operate any equipment or machinery on site, before use


      The host employer must ensure workplace supervisors have current working with children accreditation when hiring an apprentice under 18 years of age.

    • Host Employer Obligations

      The host is required to:

      • Provide adequate supervision by a qualified electrician to each apprentice either by direct, broad or general Instruction in accordance with ESV supervision guidelines.
      • Maintaining a working environment that is safe and without risk to the health and safety of the workers.
      • Provide information and supervision to the workers in such languages as are appropriate, with respect to health and safety in the workplace, including the names of persons to whom workers may make injury reports or complaints in relation to health and safety.
      • Allow Impact representatives to interview workers at an agreed time.
      • Ensure workplace supervisors have current working with children accreditation, when hiring apprentices that are under the age of 18    
      • Ensure that each worker is appropriately trained and/or licensed to use any equipment or machinery on site prior to the use of that equipment or machinery.
      • Ensure each worker works in a safe and harassment free environment in accordance with Federal and State legislation.
      • Ensure workers complete weekly time sheets setting out hours of work for the week as well as allowances.
      • Sign off on apprentice weekly profiling cards

               Check and countersign all weekly timesheets.
