What qualities and interests will help me obtain an apprenticeship?

  • Willingness to develop skills and knowledge in the electrical trade.
  • Commitment to undertake and complete formal training at a TAFE or /Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
  • Desire to make a positive contribution to your workplace.
  • Keen interest to learn on- and off-site, listen and follow instructions.
  • Be willing to learn, good practical skills in real worksite conditions.

    • To become an apprentice, you must be eligible to work in Australia. 
    • To give yourself the best possible opportunity in finding potential employment as an apprentice electrician, you should consider completing a Certificate II Pre-Apprenticeship/Career start course.
